Should your holiday be cancelled or curtailed, your rental costs will be reimbursed for the unused period.

The choice of destination and accommodation is often made well in advance, but between that choice and the actual holiday a number of events can occur that prevent you from taking your holidays: being hospitalised, being laid off, professional relocation, serious illness, death of a relative, etc. In such cases, the deposit - or even the full amount of the rent paid - will unfortunately not be reimbursed if you do not have cancellation insurance.
